And I’ll also share my little secret with you to find people WILLING to do video testimonials for you.
Testimonials are also a fantastic was to build your credibility and reduce your potential customers resistance to buy from someone unknown. Think of how many scams are online at the moment, your customers are very aware of these places and are looking for clues on your social media and website that you are indeed a reputable business. If you have REAL and credible testimonials talking about your products and services they are more likely to have confidence in their purchasing decision with you.

It is hard to tell from a written review how genuine the notion behind the words are (or if the person is even real), however when you are able to look into someones eyes as they tell you how much they loved Sally May’s Cleaning Services you can judge their sincerity for yourself.

Sometimes it can be hard to get your clients to do a video testimonial for you, however I have found a very willing audience who will gladly jump into a video testimonial for you. Here’s my little secret….

Consider the benefits of leaving a video testimonial for other businesses. You are raising your profile, showing your authentic self and reaching a whole new audience without having to sell! It’s a no-brainer really! How easy will it be to convince another business to leave you a review when you explain it them like this?

I recently conducted a video testimonial with Cathryn Warburton from Acacia Law, explaining her experiences after being styled by the beautiful Moana from B Styled For Life. Not only has this video showcased Moana’s talents as a stylist, this also gave her audience a glimpse into who Cathryn is and what she could offer them. She was quite surprised when clients started mentioning they came to her in the first place because they saw her testimonial video. Win-win!
